WHAT WE BELIEVE
Core Beliefs
We believe in the Bible
We believe that God has perfectly revealed who he is and what he commands in the both testaments of the Bible.
We believe in the Trinity
We believe that God is a complex unity. There is only one true God, and he exists eternally as three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus
We believe that Jesus is fully God and fully man, the Son of God, the Messiah, and the mediator between God and man. He lived a righteous life, died an atoning death, and was raised three days.
We believe in the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God. Through his ministry, he points us to Jesus and empowers our living for God.
We believe in the gospel
The gospel is the good news that God has invited people to enter into his kingdom through faith in Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.
We believe in spiritual gifts
We believe that the Holy Spirit continues to give Jesus' apprentices all spiritual gifts to empower them to build up the Church believers.
We believe in salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace alone through repentance and faith in the Messiah Jesus, thus making apprentices (followers) of Jesus.
We believe in Satan
We believe Satan hates God's church and is determined to crush it. Satan was defeated at the cross even as we wait for his final judgment.
We believe in the Church
We believe the Church is Jesus' body on the earth. Her mission is to make Jesus known through declaring the gospel, caring for the poor, and serving our neighbors.
We believe in baptism and communion
We believe God has given the Church the sacraments of baptism and communion to strengthen the community of believers and celebrate their union with Christ in God's family.
We believe in the image of God
We believe that all humans are equal in dignity and significance because they bear the image of God, regardless of ethnicity or gender.
We believe in heaven and hell
We believe that followers of Jesus will spend eternity with Jesus in his kingdom. Those who rejects Jesus will be punished with eternal separation from the presence of God.
We believe in Jesus' return
We believe that Jesus will return to both restore creation and judge the living and the dead.

BIO
Lead Pastor Steven Gilchrist
Steven Gilchrist is the founding and lead pastor of Jubilee Fellowship Church in Fairburn. He began his preaching and teaching ministry in Norman, Oklahoma around 2004.
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Steven accepted Christ and was baptized as a high school freshman while attending a revival. He served in all things youth all four years until matriculating into college at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
While a student at a seminary in Louisville around 2010, Steven heard the call of God to plant a church that serves to build bridges between saints and sinners across a gamut of issues. Steven just wanted them to know and follow the Lord in every area of their lives.
Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2017, Steven has been in high demand as a teacher and preacher of God’s Word for many years. Small and mega-churches alike have benefited immensely from his engaging, biblically sound, practical, and humorous style of presenting the Gospel.
Steven is happily married to the love of his life, Ebony, for over fourteen years. They have two children: a daughter, Leah, and one son, Titus, who are twins.
